Commute, 2014

Driven by the un-monumental and insignificant, my personal work investigates notions of time, weight, ownership and object use. What intimacies do we hold with these objects and how do they form? Something happens when we acquire or create objects. They become inundated with with meaning, whether defined by its giver or memories created during its use or conception. My work narrates the interactive balance of objects, moments, and meanings through found, fabricated, and replicated objects of the everyday.
